define choice
None of these comments are dated, so as I read them I’m wondering if particularly the negative comments are actually from a few years back.? Anyway, having said that I just want to point out that the Linux OS is a work in progress, not unlike M$ Windraws, but a lot of progress has been made, particularly in usability & uniformality, and all that basically for free to us users. Also, upgrading from one version of Linux to a newer version does NOT cost $80-$100 or more like the M$ OSes, if you’re smart and know which Linux OS to go with. In regards to Paul’s comments - Sid is Debian’s UNSTABLE branch, meaning the software is under development. This should tell you something - expect bugs & frustration & things to not run smoothly, and if you’re not a developer you should bite your tongue, or move to another distro.
