The developers of Hive Rise have now released a Linux version of the client software that allows you to participate in this online multi-player war game.
The setting of the game is the beginning of the 21st century, when wars between countries were fading, and some people were looking for alternative ways of creating death and destruction.
The solution was the creation of a TV show called Hive Rise, where opposing teams set up camps on a large battle ground somewhere in a desert, and specialized mercenaries use advanced military equipment to fight and gain trophies.
The client software as well as the game itself is free of charge, although it is possible to buy additional equipment. You can download the game client from the Hive Rise web site.
