This is a fun open source real-time strategy (RTS) game where you control armies of factions such as the Norsemen, the Egyptians, the Persians, the Romans, the Indians, and the two original factions called Tech and Magic.
MegaGlest is a 3D game and provides 17 settings with beautifully designed environments and models. You can choose to run it in single-player mode trying you luck against four levels of AI, or you use the multi-player on-line mode to compete with friends or strangers. Since the game is cross-platform you can play in the same game with other people even if they use different operating systems (Linux, Windows, or Mac OS).
Like the game itself, additional game mods can be added free of charge. In-game options are available to download add-ons.
