Definition: ghostview: a PostScript viewer for X11 This is the GNU PostScript viewer (an X11 frontend for GhostScript, in the gs package), and it is VERY old. Its last release was in 1993, and its user interface is considered ugly by some. You may find the gv package a better alternative.
