Command Library

SYNOPSIS
% script [-a] [file]

DESCRIPTION
Logs the current session in the text terminal into a text file typescript (the default filename). The log finishes when you type exit or press Ctrl-d.

OPTIONS
-a Append the output to file (if specified) or typescript, retaining the prior contents.

EXAMPLE
% script -a session1.txt

Writes the session transcript to file session1.txt

Important: Use the man command (% man) to see how a command is used on your particular computer.
