8.16. Screen Resolution Preferences

Use the Screen Resolution preference tool to specify the resolution settings for your screen. Table 8.18, Screen Resolution Preferences lists the screen resolution preferences that you can modify.

Dialog Element

Description

Resolution

Select the resolution to use for the screen from the drop-down list.

Refresh rate

Select the screen refresh rate to use for the screen from the drop-down list.

Make default for this computer only

Select this option to make the screen resolution settings the default settings for the system that you are logged in to only.
