From Andre Haas

This game is simple and abstract. All you do is control a ball with your arrow keys. There are gravity, acceleration, deceleration, and perpetual motion involved. You guide your ball through different levels, maneuvering past walls and collecting different bonuses along the way. What sets this game apart from the others in Ball Revamped series (e.g., Ball Revamped Andromeda, Ball Revamped Metaphysics) is the large map and that the visual tracing of the ball.

Gameplay

The gameplay is repetitive. You will like it if simple rhythm is what you are after. There are 50 levels and a set of extremely hard bosses. You have infinite lives for each level. After every 10 levels or so, you will notice a change in scenery, and sometimes obstacles. But the gameplay stays basically the same: You just keep on moving the ball toward the portal.

Graphics and Audio

The graphics, like the gameplay, are very simple. The ball is simply a colored sphere. The obstacles are nothing more than textured rectangles. However the background of each level is nicely done. The audio features some basic, repetitive music, as well as sounds for hitting an obstacle or the ball getting into a portal.

Special Feature

An interesting part of this game is the number of bonuses available. These are very creative. For example, at one level, you don't see the walls until you collect a golden star. Can you imagine having to maneuver past invisible walls? Tip: If you are ever faced with a tight space, there will unusually be a shrinking bonus nearby.

Bottom Line

With 50 levels of maneuvering gameplay, this game can entertain for hours on end if you really want it to.
