From Andre Haas

Rating this one was tough. Opinions must range widely depending on the players. The graphics are bad, consisting of not much more than a few simple stick figures, and a very basic, messy-looking terrain. Territory War is a worm-based stick figure game. Its gameplay is a clone of Worms. However, the gameplay is extremely good, particularly appealing to the strategic minds.

Gameplay

The gameplay of Territory War is very good. The play is turn-based. In each turn you can move one of your multiple stick-figures. In each turn, there is a limit on how far you can move. After the move, you can either fire a weapon, kick an enemy, throw a grenade, or do nothing at all. You can play against AI or another player on the same computer.

Graphics and Audio

The graphics are bad. The audio is okay, but some of the music doesn't fit. The sound effects are okay. If the graphics of this game were updated, it could get very popular.

Special Feature

A cool part of Territory War is the strategies involved. You move your character around, and then you must attack. When playing against AI, it is very easy to win. But playing against other human players is all based on strategy. You must have some good strategies to win this game, because if you don't, the enemy can easily win.

Bottom Line

This game should definitely be tried by fans of strategic games, especially if they like Worms. There are many other Worm-clone games out there. Territory War is among the most stable. You will like it if you care a lot more about gameplay than about graphics.
