Guide Review - Free Game for Linux - The Battle for Wesnoth
When using a multiplayer option, the players take turns to move their own units, and or make more units, etc. When you are done, click the END TURN button on the screen. Through "fighting", the units can be transformed to more advanced levels, with more powerful abilities, weapons and spells. For example, if an Elvish Archer kills two enemy units, it evolves into an Elvish Ranger or Marksman. A unit can evolve several times before reaching the highest level.
Players who enjoyed similar fantasy themes in other computer games, such as "Age of the Empires", should also indulge their inclination by giving Wesnoth a try.
